AIME ,
Proposal: Strengthening Independent Media Across Europe
In today’s rapidly changing media landscape, independent journalism faces significant challenges, from financial instability to increasing pressure from political and corporate interests. AIME – the Association of Independent Media Europe – is a cooperative platform designed to address these challenges by uniting independent media organizations, freelancers, and supporters across Europe. Our goal is to create a sustainable, collaborative ecosystem where independent journalism can not only survive but thrive.
By fostering cooperation, securing financial resources, and advocating for media reform, AIME provides a foundation for a stronger, more resilient independent media sector. Through our network, members can access funding opportunities, share resources, and collectively push back against threats to press freedom.
